I worked with Chay for 6-months. Not only did I adjust my diet and relationship with food, a brain tumor I was diagnosed with in early 2020 shrunk by 50%!  While it would be irresponsible to say that working with Chay alone produced these incredible results, it would be irresponsible NOT to say that Chay played a big role in my healing journey.

Chay reconnected me to food and taught me how it can and should be used to heal the body (and spirit). She showed me how simple adjustments like decreasing the amount of sugar I eat, paying attention to the time of day that I consume food, and increasing the amount of live foods I consume can completely transform how I feel.  This allowed my body to conduct its own course corrections and heal itself.

Thanks to all the information that Chay gave me, I can go through the day with no pain!  I didn’t know that my own habits were the reason of my poor health. I suffered from joint pain my whole life, I was overweight, I had heavy and painful periods, anemia, lack of energy, swelling, stress, and poor self-esteem. 

Now I can say that I’m a new person or maybe Chay helped me find the real me.  I feel and look so much better. I lost 45 pounds.  I have a shorter and lighter period that went from 10 days to 4 days. It’s amazing! I am no longer anemic and the best of all is that I don’t have joint pain anymore.  I have extra energy to work and play with my 3 kids and still have energy to play with my husband too lol! I am also learning to love myself the way I am.

I strongly recommend Chay as a health coach.  She is a careful listener, incredibly effective in helping you identify your needs and what is important.

My name is Alejandra Castellanos. I’m 27 years old. I worked with Chay Wike as my health coach for about 8 months. She helped me and taught me how to eat healthier. I was suffering a lot from stomach pains, migraines, and anemia. My vitamin D was also really low.  Once I started eating better I noticed that my body was cleansing. All my aches and pains were going away and I wasn’t having them as often.  Not only did I start feeling better but I started to have more energy and be more active. I also lost weight which was hard for me before.  I went from 165lbs to 135lbs. 

I can’t say it’s easy because it’s not! I went from eating fried foods to eating more veggies and drinking more water. Chay taught me that, no matter what, not to feel guilty or blame myself about my eating habits.  It’s hard coming from a lifestyle where I only learned to cook food with lots of grease and sugar. 

Chay has made things easy for me because she explained to me in such great words that even if I go back to my old ways of eating I can always return to the new healthier ways of eating too. 

She taught me how to cook foods that are really delicious. I never would have thought that eating healthier was going to bring so much good things to me and it’s all thanks to Chay.

When the lockdown began in early 2020 I knew I needed to improve my health. I was 60 lbs overweight and had fallen victim to terrible eating habits. I reached out to Chay for help and my experience with her was exceptional.

During our 6-month program, we had bi-weekly zoom sessions for 1 hour. I thought these calls would just be about food and exercise, and while that does have space in the conversation, it was so much more than that. Chay helps you clarify your goals and address the root cause of your lifestyle habits. She herself isn’t a licensed therapist and knows how to stay within those limits.  She has a strong network of people she can refer you to for extra support.

Her program is about developing a heightened sense of awareness for how you treat yourself physically and mentally every day. It’s about incrementally injecting healthier habits while crowding out the bad ones. Not a total shift that’s so unsettling you spend the whole time wanting to go back when the program is over. It’s a slow burn, with manageable assignments between zoom calls to nudge you gently in a healthier direction. For me these tasks included picking up great kitchen utensils, learning new recipes and techniques, making shakes, taking vitamins, and doing a certain amount of exercise. It’s a totally judgment-free process.

After 6 months, my weight is down almost 30 lbs and counting, and my face and eyes look much clearer. I overall feel significantly healthier than when I started her program. Everybody around me has noticed the changes too.  With Chay’s help, I’m already living a much healthier life and more importantly, I can turn my attention to the feelings that drive my decisions. Big thank you to Chay for helping me turn things around!
